Hyatt to Expand in Upper-Midscale Through Luxury
Hyatt Hotels held an Investor Day today. They are forecasting $650 to $850 million of free cash flow by 2025 and will be 80% asset-light for their earnings mix. Hilton announced the signing of a management agreement for the first all-inclusive Curio Collection by Hilton property in the Dominican Republic , the new build Zemi Miches All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton. -

Pan Pacific Hotels to Double Serviced Suites Portfolio
Pan Pacific Hotels Group announced it will double its serviced suites portfolio in 2023. Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group announced it will manage a new resort with branded residences in Phu Yen province, one of Vietnam’s coastal regions. InterContinental Khao Yai Resort in Thailand has unveiled 19 Suites and Villas, housed within repurposed heritage railcars marking the final phase of its opening journey. -

Hilton Garden Inn Tripling China Portfolio
STR said Melbourne, Australia’s hotel performance in August fell from the previous month. Preliminary August 2022 data shows occupancy at 59%, ADR at A$207.05 and RevPAR at A$122.10. Hilton said their Hilton Garden Inn brand is poised to triple its portfolio in Greater China and offer travelers an expanded network of 135 properties in the coming years. Louvre Hotels Group , an affiliate of Jin Jiang International , the second largest hotel group in the world, has begun construction of its five hundredth project in China.
